Eco-friendly toys are the best choice for our kids and for the planet. Natural toys serve a purpose because someday our children will inherit the world and the impact we leave can make a difference. Organic toys protect the health of our children and the planet by reducing the overall exposure to toxic chemicals. We should encourage the purchase of earth-friendly toys that are made from sustainable sources. They should be made from organic materials, renewable wood such as beech wood or bamboo, have low-impact or vegetable dyes and minimal packaging. Toys made from recycled or renewable materials are best. Also, fewer batteries in toys, if any, are better. Kid power is always best! Look for toys that are ethically made and manufactured by socially responsible companies. We all share this earth and we all share the responsibility to care for our planet.
